This was my 2nd time dining at this restaurant. We had a large party of 15 (celebrated my Nephew graduating from Barber school that day) & our whole party had to all be present in order for the servers/waitresses to seat us so we had to wait. Once everyone was present & we were seated I/we loved the service, vibe, and food here (Hibachi style). The cook we had was so awesome & funny & interacted with us the whole time. Great entertainment by far. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. A lil pricey, but well worth it!

I've had a lot of different Teppanyaki spots and this one hands down was the best. I simply can't describe with words how good the food was. Just go....you won't regret it

First time try teppanyaki in Bay Area. Bacon fried rice tastes awesome! Tempera banana with vanilla ice cream also tastes excellent. Dragon is just okay as tempura inside is not as crispy as expected. Overall, the amount of food is large. They also provide lunch special, shrimp+beef+chicken per one person's serving with $15. I will recommend here for teppanyaki.

I had a truly delightful and remarkable experience with my partner at this establishment. It was undoubtedly a splendid occasion that we wholeheartedly intend to relish more frequently. With utmost confidence, we highly recommend it to everyone without reservation. ❤️

The food here was fantastic and knock par with other major chains of Teppanyaki grills. The beers list included two Japanese origin beers on draft. I ended up at a grill by myself and portions were large and too much for me to finish.

It’s always an eventful time at Hino Oishi. The teppanyaki shows are fun. Teppanyaki is a unique and satisfying treat to enjoy once in a while. The flavors are addicting and mouth watering. Try to reserve if possible. It’s a hit and miss with the wait times. If the wait time is long we tend to go to the bar and have a few cocktails to pass the time.

Service was fast! We were seated quickly and our waiter was friendly and attentive (: Food was delicious! I ordered a rainbow roll & a yumm yumm roll. Both delicious but yum yum was a little messy. My friend got a hot rock lettuce wrap & it was so delicious! She also got the loaded Gyoza she really liked them

Love the convenience of being able to rsvp online. Friendly service. Clean bathrooms except faucet water was very hot. The salmon salad was very good. Love the dressing on the salad. Fast service and servers cleared plates/table fast.

Hino's has been my go to spot for sushi & teppanyaki for years! On this particular day, I came in for the lunch special. I asked if the bar was open, & went to self seat in the bar area. I was not greeted & decided to sit on the outside patio & informed bar tender I was sitting out there. Again, after 7 min was not greeted. I saw Isaac, who I believe is the bar manager & let him know of the disappointing service. Isaac happened to be on his lunch at the time, however, took my order & had the bar tender take my drink order. He was apologetic for the wait, not being greeted by the bartenders & attended to me with urgency! His customer service was exceptional!

It's been about a year since I was here. Took our son Brandon out for his birthday. Seated quickly. Very clean. So happy it was well air conditioned in the teppanyaki area was nice and cool. I had a Cadillac margarita and it was wonderful. Server was very friendly. Still a fan of the miso soup and salad. Fun watching our food being prepared. Not much of a show but it was fine. The best part was my lobster was not over cooked. My steak was medium rare like I requested. Super impressed. Usually with teppanyaki it's always over. We had a good time.
